To that end, the Institute of Technology, Inc. offers day, evening, and weekend classes. The Institute of Technology, Inc.’s doors are open to all students who desire to learn, regardless of age, race, creed, or past educational experience. When you start at the Institute of Technology, Inc., your possibilities are limitless within the Healthcare field.The Institute of Technology, Inc. was founded in 2001 as a test preparation center for Nursing Assistants and then as a Continuing Education Provider of Credits for Nursing. The facility consisted of 1,500 sq. ft., which included two classrooms, multi-media lab, and a skill room. The skill room contained five medical beds, and three wheelchairs, along with a variety of medical equipment used in hospitals and nursing homes today.
The 5,500 square foot Tampa campus was acquired in 2003. It contains six classrooms, a multi-media lab, and a large skill room, equipped with several beds, wheelchairs and other equipment needed to simulate a hospital-care type setting for an optimal learning experience.The multi-media lab consists of referral text books and computer access for Internet research, as well as extensive audio/video/CD-ROM selections for students to utilize as learning tools. Students are encouraged to use these resources as often as possible. Students have access to the facilities after class hours to practice skills and to take full advantage of the multi-media tools offered.
